Internal TPMS Sensors are now available, however they are special order only and require a 30 day delay for shipping, we still recommend external sensors for the below reasons, but for those that really want internal sensors, we offer them.
External sensor Pros:
- Easy to install and move from wheel to wheel (like for tire rotations and doesn't require reprogramming the TPMS monitor)
- Easy to replace the battery and good battery life 1-2 years typically
- No real chance of damage when mounting new tires.
External sensor Cons:
- A bit unsightly, they make smaller versions but battery life suffers
- A little more trouble to inflate tires as you have to remove them first, ~ 1-2 mins per tire

**Intended Usage**
The 3dCadWurx TPMS is intended for normal street driving and offroad usage and provides the same level of accuracy as any standard tire pressure gauge, while you could potentially use this product for racing applications, this product is not intended to provide the same level of accuracy or abuse as high end racing products.
**Operational Note**
The 3dCadWurx TPMS is visible from the drivers perspective, while the steering wheel and turn signal stalk can impede visibility when the steering wheel is perfectly straight, a very slight rotation in the steering wheel allows for visibility. Additionally the audible alerts will continue to function and provide loud alerts when the tire pressure is either too low, too high, or the temperature of the tire is too high.
**Off-Road Usage**
The 3dCadWurx TPMS is capable of setting the low pressure alert threshold anywhere from 1-44psi, so all you offroad guys can reduce your low pressure threshold during offlanding and trail riding without fear of constant audible alerts, and then raise the threshold back up for street driving, the process of changing the threshold takes about 20 seconds.
